Trunk shows, the workroom open days, and the two weekends a year the archive rail comes out. Subscribers hear first because they are the ones who turn up.

What is not in it

No countdown timers. No last chance. No third reminder about a sale you already decided against. We write it in December and in June, and if there is nothing worth saying in between then nothing arrives.

The form sits in the footer of every page on this site, or leave your address at the counter and we will type it in. One click at the bottom of any letter takes you off the list for good, and we do not ask why.

Where the archive lives

Every letter we have sent is in the journal, in full, with nothing held back for subscribers. The list is a delivery method, not a members’ club.
