Fourteen pieces for other people’s weddings. Rebuilt every April, and again in September, because the Greek season has two halves and they want different clothes.

The brief for this edit is narrower than any of the others and everybody who has ever been a guest knows it: be dressed, do not be photographed being the most dressed, and survive from a church at seven to a table at one in the morning without a second outfit. Almost everything sold as occasionwear fails the third part.
So it is built backwards from the day. Fabric that does not crease on a chair for four hours. A shoulder that takes a wrap and does not need one. A hem that clears a gravel courtyard in Sifnos, which is where roughly a third of our customers are going between May and September. Nothing white, nothing that reads as ivory in a photograph, and nothing that has to be held.
